Kampong Cham, Cambodia
In 2017, we had the privilege of starting a frog, fish and chicken farm in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. In the spring of 2018 we took our family for a visit. We started with 2,000 frogs initially seeded and 2 frog pens constructed; 6,000 catfish initially seeded and 3 fish ponds constructed. The fish and frogs are fed to university and elementary students on site, as well as to the girls rescued from human trafficking that live on site. (Due to the sensitive nature of the location, the gps pin is the not the exact location of the farm.) Fish and frogs breed within systems and are continuing to be bred, sold at local markets, and consumed on site. This project has been successfully handed over to the local leadership under Grace Opens Door.
